Wire will release "Object 47", their 11th studio album, on July 7th. The first single, "One of Us", is available for download now. It's good, but it's not "Pink Flag" or "Chairs Missing" good.
Their only US appearance on the schedule thus far is this Friday at the South Street Seaport in Manhattan. If you're in the area, it's a free show. Wire for free. Yeah, you should go.
