The new album by the newly reformed Verve will hit the US on August 19th.
A new single, "Love is Noise", debuted on Radio1 last night, and is currently streaming on their MySpace page.
Sadly though, I'm not impressed. On first listen, it sounds more like a solo Richard Ashcroft song than it does Verve. Let's be honest: Dicky Ash's solo work was sub-standard compared to what he did with Verve. If this is an indicator as to what the album will sound like, I'll pass.
First CSS, then Coldplay, now this. Anybody else want to let me down?
