The Buzzcocks are back from the dead

If you don't know who the Buzzcocks are you are probably retarded, brain damaged or your parents were jocks, or you were an orgasm addict and you were always at it!  If you were part of the Punk or Wave scene you knew who these guys were - fo shor.

Later on most people started humming the words from a car commercial, singing the wrong damn lyrics.  I heard everything from "Like Wildcats" and so on. People always came up to El Macho and I, and said play that song you know the one that says wildcats ohhh..from that like car commercial, and I about slapped them! It's the Buzzcocks and the song is called  "What do I get!".

The Buzzcocks are an English punk band formed in Bolton in 1976, led by singer–songwriter–guitarist Pete Shelley. They are regarded as an important influence on the Manchester music scene, the independent record label movement, punk rock, power pop, pop punk and indie rock. They achieved commercial success with singles that fused pop craftsmanship with rapid-fire punk energy. These singles were collected on Singles Going Steady, described by critic Ned Raggett as a "punk masterpiece". The widely covered "Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)" remains one of their best-known songs.

Here is the video for "Every Fallen In Love (With Someone You Shouldn't`ve).

They will be playing in Dallas June 11th, 2010 at The Loft.  If you would like to purchase tickets or would like to check out the venue click here: The Loft Dallas
