It's no secret that I don't see what the big deal is behind French hipster DJ duo Justice. Give me a keyboard and I could put a few bar chords over a drum beat too. So naturally, my reaction when they announced a show at Madison Square Garden was, "aww, how cute." The promoters really thought that people would pay $70 to see a couple of guys in girl jeans push buttons. I could see that if they were dressed as robots and had an awesome light show, but even Daft Punk at Keyspan Park wasn't $70.
Well, today they made the announcement:
Hey everyone!
The venue has changed for New York City. It is now at the WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden with doors at 7pm and the show at 8pm. Chromeo is on the New York show only - if you are missing them at the Bowery Ballroom this weekend, then come see them in March.
IMPORTANT - Tickets purchased for the Madison Square Garden will be exchanged for the WaMu show. If you purchased tickets with a credit card will have the new ticket mailed to you. If you purchased through an outlet with cash you will have your tickets exchanged at the door the night of the show.
See you at the show. If you haven't bought tickets for NY do it now before they sell out!!
Justice is served.
