Radiohead's first live gig of 2008

I can't believe I forgot to mention this! Here's the NME's take on it.

Radiohead played their first show of the year Wednesday night in London. It was supposed to be at a Rough Trade shop, but authorities had some concerns, prompting a last minute move to 93 Feet East, a nearby live music venue.

The crowd was said to be very enthusiastic. I would hope so. I mean, it's Radiohead in a small venue for crying out loud! The band played "In Rainbows" start to finish, and were very loose on stage, so much so that they flubbed the start of a couple of songs. They finished with an encore set that included some old favorites.

Here's the set list:

'15 Step'
'Bodysnatchers'
'Nude'
'Weird Fishes/Arpeggi'
'All I Need'
'Faust Arp'
'Reckoner'
'House Of Cards'
'Jigsaw Falling Into Place'
'Videotape'
---------------------
'Up On The Ladder'
'You And Whose Army?'
'The National Anthem'
'My Iron Lung'
'The Bends'

It's looking like the band will NOT be playing Coachella, but might be playing the new festival organized by the Coachella people at Liberty State Park in New Jersey this summer. I'm still waiting for a date for the Dallas show on their upcoming tour. Allegedly we're going to know something very soon.
